great support arriving in time

Thanks to this app, I arrived so far in time to appointments, when taking the train. In general, it helps in having an orientation together with getting several options for arriving at the target place.

Great app for Japan trains

Use this all the time. My kanji knowledge is not great but I am able to get by with this app. Train times are accurate and it is always a lifesaver when I need to know what trains to take and when.

Awesome!

This app is great! I use it all the time to check all of my train information. Its become an indispensable tool to my life in Tokyo.

This app helped me so much

I cant live without this app. Considering to put money for more my routes

Hope you can add English as alternative language

this will be very helpful for tourists!

Great App!

I use it every time I go to Japan. Dont have to worry about getting lost. This app tells you which train to take and how long the trips are.

Using everyday.

Even if you dont know kanji you can use it.

English version please!

Please release an English version. Youve done it on the web, now please bring it to us on the iPhone. Thank you. 英語バージョンもお願いします。

I love it

I just wish it had the default memory of the schedules so itll be useful offline as well just in case if you couldnt find internet or signal. 平常時刻表が搭載されたらもっと良いなぁ∽と思います。もし、インターネットや電波が届かなかったりした時に

I LOVE thongs

I love things that i dont understand it os fun because of it it is FUN If you dont understand this hi

ありがとう

This was the first application I looked for when I bought the iPhone. Couldnt find anything like it forever, so I was using a crappy old web-app. But this works great! I agree that I would love any kind of offline service too. ^_^ I often search the same place (sometimes 5 minutes later when I forget), so being able to save some offline would be really useful.

Awesome!

Simple and easy to use. Only Japanese though.

Great for every visitor

Cant believe this apps is free after Ive just paid a buck for another s_ck apps.

Absolute must for Japan residents

First of all, this app is in Japanese. If youre comfortable with the language and live in Japan, its an essential supplement to the native Maps app. While Maps is great for open-ended route searches, if I know my departure and arrival stations, I always use Norikae Annai. Given two stations and an arrival/departure time, this app returns the fastest, cheapest and easiest routes. For each route, all stations and transfers are on one screen, along with transfer times, line names and cost. Once youre accustomed to the interface and have a decent station history, it takes literally seconds to find the best route. So far, I havent found any mistakes, but I live in Tokyo and mostly use well-traveled JR, Toei and Tokyo Metro lines. To address some other reviewers comments, note that the app can now look up the nearest stations (経路検索 -> click a blue arrow -> 最寄り駅). Also, you can see results offline in the pay version. And lastly, in most cases you can enter the name of the station in Roman letters, although the results remain in Japanese. In case youre wavering between this version and its Plus counterpart, these are the main extra features in the pay version ($20 per year): * A trains platform number and the best car(s) to use for a transfer, both of which are very useful * Offline route search and timetable history (up to 50 results for both) * Interactive search results that show you the timetable, quick info on earlier/later departures, and arrival times for stations along the way * A quicker way to search for trains departing x minutes from now * Other stuff like commuter pass compatibility, city bus listings, no ads, etc.

Must have this when you travel to Japan

Japanese railroad system is widely spreaded and difficult to understand which line / station we should use. This is the application which help us. Really recommend.

not bad

Best option I found for a dedicated train-finder in Japan. Not bad, but only slightly better than the jorudan web site itself. Needs localization in English. The jorudan site has English, this should also. A bit slow.... but so is the jorudan site.

英語に作って下さい!

Its only in japanese, but it would help out many English speaking foreigners if it could easily be changed to English. I do not see an option for that yet. 英語タイプも作って下さい!

English version please!!!!!

Im sure it is great but would love an English version like the website.

Frustration

Just downloaded this app and it keeps crashing. I was able to do one search and now I cant search at all. :(
